About the karen m. stone charitable FOUNDATION

Our mission is to honor the life and legacy of Karen M. Stone by supporting the causes she was most passionate about.

The Karen M. Stone Charitable Foundation was born out of a desire to honor the life and legacy of Karen by supporting the charitable causes (as well as others) that she supported during her lifetime. We firmly believe that we have the ability to make the same positive effect on the world that Karen did. 

The foundation was established in 2023 by her husband, Scott, after the sale of the company that he and Karen built together. It was Scott’s thought that a portion of the proceeds from the sale be put to better use to be a catalyst for positive change in the lives of people who need it most. 

A theme emerged, in initial discussions, of wanting to help local, smaller charities that fully rely on donations to make their impact. We aim to support charities, individuals, and causes with monetary donations to empower the ‘little guy’ to help make a big difference. 

Some areas that Karen supported during her lifetime were; Autism, Women’s empowerment, Education, Post Partum Support, Motherhood, Veterans and Animals, just to name a few. It is this foundation’s hope that we can support those charities and many more in the years to come to lessen the burden and build a brighter tomorrow. 

Furthermore, we understood the importance of collaboration and partnership in achieving our goals. By forging alliances with local organizations, educational institutions, and our community we enhance our collective impact, Karen’s impact and create a network of support that amplifies our reach and effectiveness.

The foundation board is made up of Scott & Karen’s children, Karen’s siblings and Karen’s business partner.
